Create system user for a database

System users have all function and access privileges in a database. To be on the safe side, create additional system users besides the system user system.

Prerequisites

  • You have the User administrator function privilege.

  • The new system user must have the required privileges in ARIS Administration.

  • Log in as a system user

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Log in to the database.

  2. In ARIS Architect, click ARIS > Show Administration Administration.

  3. Click Navigation Navigation in the bar panel if the Navigation bar is not activated yet.

  4. Click Users Users in the Navigation bar, and select a user who is to be a system user.

  5. Click Properties Properties, and select Function privileges on the Selection tab.

  6. Enable the System user check box.

  7. Click OK.

This user has all function and access privileges on this database.
