Create property definition mappings

You can create new property definition mappings.

Prerequisites

  • The ArchiMate® license is assigned to the ARIS server.

  • You have the Configuration administrator function privileges.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Open the Administration tab.

  2. Navigate to Configuration Configuration > Conventions Conventions > Conventions Import/Export > Conventions ArchiMate > Attribute Property definitions.

  3. Right-click Attribute Property definitions and New > Attribute Property definition mapping. The Create property definition mapping dialog opens.

  4. In the ArchiMate property definition name field, enter the ArchiMate® property definition you want to map to the ARIS attribute type.

  5. Click Filter to expand the Filter field.

  6. Enter a string to reduce the ARIS attributes shown. All attributes are listed that contain the string in the name.

  7. Select the ARIS attribute to which you want to map the ArchiMate® property definition.

  8. Click OK.

You have created a property definition mapping between ArchiMate® and ARIS and the mapping is listed in the Property definitions area.
