Use Text annotation symbol

In ARIS, you cannot model a connection to or from a connection. ARIS Method uses a fixed set of attributes of the Annotation type to represent such a construct at ARIS connection definitions.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Open a BPMN diagram.

  2. Click the required connection.

  3. In the Symbols bar, click the Text annotation symbol.

  4. Place the Text annotation at the required position.

For the connection, the Text annotation attribute from the BPMN 2.0 attributes attribute group is automatically specified with the name of the text annotation.
