More symbols and connections may exist for the model other than those listed here. Process Governance only interprets the following symbols. The attributes for Process Governance are contained in the Process automation attribute type group.

No connections are interpreted in the value-added chain diagram.

The following modeling conventions must be met in a value-added chain diagram:

  • Exactly one object of the Process (starts automation) type must exist.

  • You can model both default symbols and symbols that represent a partly automated function.

  • All processes assigned to the Process Governance symbols belong to the Process Governance process.

  • A Process Governance function corresponds to an EPC.

  • All Process Governance symbols must be modeled as process interfaces in the Process Governance process.
