Variables in the data flow
You can use variables in a data flow, for example, for a notification the e-mail address of the person in charge.
Variable names must always start with a letter, must not contain any spaces, and may only consist of the following characters
a-z and A-Z
0-9
Hyphen
Underscore

In this example, the e-mail address is transferred as a variable.
