Place an element

You can place an element in the dialog. If an element is to be assigned values when you run a dialog by report, you need to enable the Report support check box on the Data tab for the element.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Open or create a dialog.

  2. Click the element icon in the Elements pane.

  3. In the dialog modeling area, click the position where you want to place the element in the dialog.

  4. Enter the labels and, if required, the data in the Properties pane.

The element has now been placed.
