Screen layout of Transformation - Pattern
The Navigation, Symbols, and Properties bars have been hidden and the menu bar minimized.
The Source pattern bar is used for graphical modeling of transformation rules.
The Source pattern bar is used to model a section of the source model. This section of the model is then mapped to the section modeled on the Target pattern bar. The source pattern has the model type of the source model and the target pattern has the target model type. The source and target pattern are independent of one another.
Several tabs are possible for each source and target pattern.
The Target pattern bar is used for graphical modeling of transformation rules.
The Target pattern bar is used to model a section of the target model. A section of the model from the Source pattern bar is mapped to this section of the model in the Target pattern bar. The target pattern has the model type of the target model (the source pattern has the source model type). The source and target pattern are independent of one another.
Several tabs are possible for each source and target pattern.
The Mapping bar is used to model the mapping of attributes, properties and context information, for example, whether assignments are to be transferred.
