Start governance process
There are various ways of starting a governance process. The message displayed after starting the governance process can be specified individually for each process (EPC, VACD).
Prerequisite
An executable process is available.
Start governance process in 
Explorer
Click the relevant group on the
Explorer tab. All models of this group are listed in the detail view.To start the governance process for one model, click the item (database, group, model type, or object type).
To start the governance process for multiple models of a group simultaneously, hold down the Ctrl key, then click the required models.
Activate the Governance tab bar.
Click
Start governance process. The Start governance process dialog opens. The executable processes that can be started for these models based on their defined context are displayed.Select the relevant executable process.
Click OK.
The executable process is started for the selected item.
Start governance process by report
Prerequisite
You have written a report that uses the Process API object and the GUID of the governance process.
Start the corresponding report on a group, model, or object.
The report starts the governance process in the selected context.
Start governance process from an HTML page
You can start governance processes that are not connected as context to a group, model, or object from an HTML page if you use Process Governance and if a correspondingly configured Web page exists on your intranet. We recommend that you contact your sales partner responsible to obtain support for adapting such a page.
Start governance process from a query
You can start governance processes from queries. Right-click the item in the query result for which you want to start a governance processes. Then click Contents > Start governance process.
