Report - Start 'Find indirectly updated models'
Using the Find indirectly updated models report, you can check whether a model was updated indirectly, that is, whether it contains objects that were changed since the last time the model was saved.
The report checks whether the date of the Last change object attribute is more recent than that of the model attribute. Changing the object attribute does not automatically result in a change to the model attribute. In other words, if an object is changed outside the model, resulting in the Last change object attribute being updated, the Last change model attribute is not updated automatically. If the date of the Last change object attribute of an object that has an occurrence in the model is more recent than that of the model attribute, a timestamp is added in the Last check for object changes model attribute (attribute type group Process automation).
The Find indirectly updated models report can be started for models or groups. If the report is started for a group, the subgroups can be included in the check.
Right-click the model or group for which you want to generate the report on the
Explorer tab.Select Evaluate >
Start report. The Report Wizard opens.Select the Automation category and the Find indirectly updated models report.
Click Next.
If required, specify additional settings and click Finish.
If you have started the report on a group, select whether you want to include the subgroups (Yes) or not (No).
A message shows whether indirectly updated models were found. In this case, the models are marked with a timestamp.
You can use the time stamp to search for models that were updated indirectly.
