What simulation states exist?

A simulation can have any of the following states:

  • Initialized: The linked simulation models have been loaded and all necessary data is transferred. At this stage, the simulation is ready to start.

  • Running: The simulation is in progress, that is, the control flow is running step by step, with or without animation.

  • Paused: The simulation has been paused at a certain stage.

  • Stopped: The simulation was stopped. There are no linked simulation models loaded and the simulation execution is not active.
