Reset of simulation
Resetting means returning a simulation to its original state, from which it can be started again.
Reset the simulation time
The simulation time that has elapsed is reset to 0.
Clear statistics and result variables
If the link details or simulation options of the relevant models and objects have been changed, the values of statistics and result variables are deleted. The statistics must be generated anew.
Recalculate model dependencies
If the combination of models for which the simulation was started, or the link details or simulation options of the relevant models and objects have been changed since the last time the simulation was started, the combination of models for simulation is newly generated.
Animated and non-animated models
If the animation modalities have been changed since the last time the simulation was started, the combination of models for animation is newly generated.
Attribute updates
If attributes have been changed since the last time the simulation was started, the current values are not used until a reset is performed.
The simulation time is reset and the statistics and result variables are cleared every time. If only object attributes have been changed, it is not necessary to recalculate the model dependencies and composition of the models to be opened.
