In models that represent processes, the first column contains a logical and/or chronological sequence of objects. Consequently, when adding an object you can always select the object type if several object types are useful at the current position in the process. The SmartDesign configuration determines which object types are useful when they occur in succession.

Example: In a model of the EPC type, the first column may contain, for example, events and functions. After a function, you can select whether you want to insert an event or function. You can only insert a function between an event and function.

If the SmartDesign contains other columns, you can create objects there that have a relationship with the object in the first column.

Each column represents an object type that has a certain relationship to the object in the first column.

Example: In a model of the EPC type, the Input documents column may contain, for example, objects of the Document type, which have an is input for relationship with the activity.

Adds a row for a new object below the row in which the cursor is currently located.

Moves the object in which the cursor is currently located up one row.

Deletes the object in which the cursor is currently located.

Moves the object in which the cursor is currently located down one row.

Undoes editing steps.

Redoes editing steps that were undone.

Allows you to select object types that can be shown as columns in the SmartDesign table.
