Export executable process

You can export executable processes to a ZIP archive in order to deploy and start it, for example, in ARIS.

Prerequisites

  • The model type must be an EPC or a value-added chain diagram.

  • The model and all related models must have been saved.

  • The models used must be saved in a versionable database.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. On the Show Explorer Explorer tab, click the model for which you want to export an executable process.

  2. Activate the Governance tab bar.

  3. Click Export Export executable process.

  4. Select a location and a name for the export file.

  5. You can generate a new executable process, for example, if changes were made in the meantime. If no executable version of the process exists, this option is automatically disabled and cannot be enabled.

  6. If a ZIP archive already exists for the process, decide whether to overwrite it. If not, choose a different location and/or name for the export file.

The executable process is exported as a ZIP archive.

Now you can deploy the executable process on an ARIS server instance.
